Marcella Cronin, Managing Director

Founder of Mansion House Executive, Marcella has been recruiting in the insurance market since 1988, specialising in executive level search across a wide range of businesses. Marcella began her career with Lombard Continental Insurance Company, working in its head office claims environment before entering the recruitment industry

David Cooper, Non-Executive Director

General Insurance, London Market

David Cooper has specialised in executive level recruitment since 1992. He is co-founder of Mansion House and has recruited successfully for a range of clients across the general insurance sector in both London and regional markets.

Prior to entering recruitment, David worked in insurance broking for three years.

Paul Clougher, Executive Consultant (Birmingham)

Executive Consultant Paul Clougher joined Mansion House in July 2006. He leads our regional financial services team from our Birmingham office and works alongside Simon Dodds, Gerard Bland and Simon Clark across life, pensions and investment.

Prior to joining us, Paul spent almost four years with a leading recruitment group working as Head of Midlands and South West specialising in life, pensions and investment recruitment. Paul also has 12 years experience as a senior financial consultant with two leading life companies.

Simon Dodds, Executive Consultant

Pensions & Employee Benefits, Investment

Simon Dodds joined Mansion House as a Researcher following his graduation from Nottingham Business School with BA (Hons) in Business Studies. In 2007 he was promoted to Executive Consultant within our employee benefits and investment team, providing a particular emphasis to senior recruitment across the actuarial and pensions consulting markets and pensions administration.

Gerard Bland, Executive Consultant

Pensions & Employee Benefits, Regulated & Retail Financial Services

Gerard rejoined Mansion House in 2007 to further support the expanding presence in the Employee Benefits, Pensions Consulting, Pensions Administration and Life company markets. He has been recruiting in the executive sector of these markets for over 10 years building up a significant network of contacts in this time. Prior to this Gerard had periods running his own executive search business and as a manager with another specialist Financial services recruiter in the city.

Simon Clark, Executive Consultant

Life Assurance, Life Reinsurance

Simon joined Mansion House in 2008. He offers over 10 years recruitment experience gained across Life and Health/Protection Underwriting, Reinsurance, Claims, Compliance, Marketing and Technical roles.

Previously he worked in Private Medical Insurance and Group Risk Insurance and has provided executive search, salary benchmarking, succession planning and market trend information for a wide network of contacts.

Nick Purdue, Executive Consultant

Nick rejoined Mansion House in 2007 to further support the expanding presence in the General Insurance market. He has been recruiting in the executive sector of this industry for over 9 years, building up a significant network of contacts throughout the London and UK markets.

Prior to this Nick worked within the insurance market for two Lloyds broking houses for 10 years.

Harriet Lansdell, Head of Operations

Administration, London

Harriet Lansdell joined Mansion House in January 2004. She has worked within administration in the recruitment Industry for over eight years.
Harriet is responsible for the smooth running of our London and Birmingham offices. This includes all aspects of project management – from IT, to risk management and disaster recovery, to ensuring our consultants are happy and well looked after.
